Dictation and Transcription
InMedEx Physicians complete dictation via digital voice recorder and have agreed to minimum timeframes with which to deliver to InMedEx. Our Physicians have the options of having InMedEx personnel upload the digital file to our secure HIPAA compliant database or are given them the ability to upload themselves 24 hours a day. Once Dictation is available, Transcription begins. Our medically trained transcription specialists apply personalized client templates and begin to review dictation for grammatical errors. Cover letters for the type of insurance and jurisdiction can be produced. The digital audio file remains as part of the record. Upon completion, the transcribed report is saved on the system and is automatically passed on for review by InMedExs Medical Legal Review department.
